Call for Contributions: Co-Author «The Best Rice Recipes World Book»
The WGI and Worldchefs invite you to participate as authors in the definitive book on cooking with rice.
Contributions with recipes and technical articles are also welcome.
The book project is the result of an agreement between Worldchefs, the largest international organization of chefs with more than 10 million Members in 104 countries, and the WGI, the world's most influential organization in institutional and academic gastronomy.

Presentation of the book «Peruvian Gastronomy. Cultural Heritage of Humanity» (Gastronomía Peruana. Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad).
The UNESCO Chair of Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Tourism USPM has published a complete book on the gastronomic culture of Peru, with the aim of contributing to the conservation and enhancement of the rich cultural heritage of this nation.
The book is edited by Sara Beatriz Guardia and among the renowned experts who participate is José Manuel Iglesias, Secretary-General of the World Gastronomy Institute, with the essay "Asian Cuisine in Peru."
The book has been nominated by the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2021, as the Best Book in the World in the UNESCO B5 category.

The Secretary-General of the WGI, José Manuel Iglesias, Guest Speaker at the STHMCON 2018 (International Conference on Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality Marketing: Setting Agenda for Future Research) of Shillong (Indiia)) led by another WGI Member, the Delegate Ambassador in India of the WGI, Saurabh Kumar Dixit.
Members of the Advisory Board of the WGI, such as Thomas Gugler or Carlos Durán, participate in the Hoi An Food Festival in Vietnam.
Carlos Fernandes, National Delegate WGI in Portugal, coordinating the next meeting of "Gastronomy and Tourism Research Group (ATLAS)" will be held in Bergamo (Italy), at the local university.
